This page explains what we do with the details you give us when you join the Lexi Fresh early access list. It is meant for visitors from anywhere in the world. We have tried to keep it short and clear.
Who we are
Lexi Fresh is responsible for the details you give us on this website. You can reach us at hello@lexifresh.com.
What we collect
- Your email address (needed).
- Your first name (optional).
- Your answers in the form: what you most want help with, your English level, your phone type and, if you choose, whether you would pay for an app like this.
- A record that you agreed to be emailed, with the date and time and the exact wording you agreed to.
- A scrambled code made from your internet address. We use it only to stop spam, for example someone signing up many times in an hour. We cannot turn it back into your address, and we do not keep your address itself.
We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website. We do not ask for payment details.
Why we use it, and our legal reason
- To email you about Lexi Fresh, including when it is ready.
- To learn what people want most, so we can build the right things first.
- To keep the sign-up form safe from spam.
Our reason for using your details is your consent: you ticked the box. You can take your consent back at any time (see "Your choices and rights" below). We do not sell your details, and we do not make decisions about you by computer alone.
Emails
When Lexi Fresh launches, our first email will ask you to confirm that you still want to hear from us. Every email we send will have an unsubscribe link.
Who handles your details for us
- Supabase stores the list in a database in a data centre in Europe.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and our domain name, and handles visits through servers around the world. Like most hosts, it processes standard technical information about visits.
These companies help us run the website. We do not allow them to use your details for their own purposes. We share your details with no one else, unless the law requires us to.
Where your details go
Your details are stored in Europe. If you live outside Europe, they are sent to Europe when you sign up. The list is private: the website cannot read it, and only we can open it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until Lexi Fresh launches and we have told you, plus up to 6 months after that. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us at any time to:
- show you the details we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct them;
- delete them;
- stop or limit how we use them, or stop emailing you;
- take back your consent.
Email hello@lexifresh.com from the address you signed up with. We aim to reply within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your details, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country or region. In South Africa that is the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
Who this is for
The early access list is for adults, aged 18 or over.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
